Lykkeland is a Norwegian drama series that aired on NRK-TV in 2018. The show takes place in 1969 Norway at the beginning of the oil age in the country.
The first season of the series won five awards during Gullruten 2019: best drama series, best actress (Anne Regine Ellingsæter), best director TV drama (Petter Næss & Pål Jackman), best screenplay TV drama Mette Marit Bølstad and best costume (Karen Fabritius Gram). In addition, Pia Tjelta was nominated for best actress while the series was nominated for the professional awards best photo, TV drama (Lars Vestergaard) and best lighting design / scenography / production design (Jette Lehman and Merete Boström).
