Lyubomyr Vasylyovych Levytskyi (Lyubomyr Vasylyovych Kobylchuk, took the surname of his mother's line to continue it, born on September 17, 1980, Verkhovyna) is a Ukrainian film director, screenwriter, producer and speaker. The director of the first Ukrainian thriller "Shtolnya". Lubomyr positions himself as a director who is building a bridge between Ukraine and the USA within the framework of the industry.
Biography[edit]
He was born on September 17, 1980 in the tourist town of Verkhovyna, where he spent his childhood and the school years. Also he studied there in secondary school. He graduated from the Faculty of History of Chernivtsi University, majoring in historian-archaeology. In the second year of the university, he took an academic leave and went to Paris, and then to Germany, where he stayed for a while, working and studying at a film school. It was in Germany when he started writing the first scripts for music and commercials. He started his film career at a fairly young age, quickly rising to the list of the most famous Ukrainian film directors. When he returned to Ukraine, Lyubomyr accepted the offer from Oleksiy Khoroshka to become the director of the first Ukrainian youth thriller "Shtolnya", which was released in Ukrainian cinemas in 2006. From an early age, he was interested in mysticism, adventure and loved organizational activities. In his youth, he had his own video production store.
