MAN J, Inc. is a Sri Lankan media and technology company, broadcasting operator based in Panadura, Sri Lanka. It was founded by Yeshan Peiris along with his college friends Seniru Wickramasinghe and Thenuka Dinuruwan in 2018. It offers Internet service products for the global Internet market. Their Internet services are Oakot, Eig8, ZeaFeed, Idoloo and Plyrr. These services are independently developed by MAN J. In 2018, MAN J launched its company as a radio and television broadcasting company named MAN J TV. Before starting MAN J, Yeshan started a web hosting company named NovellCloud. After serving their services, they stopped their Broadcasting services and started to develop new projects for the Internet industry.
History
MAN J (formally Novell Cloud) launched a cloud hosting and VPS hosting service in 2017 as NovellCloud.. After providing their hosting services to customers around the world for about one year, they shut down their website and its hosting services for new customers. But they allowed existing customers to manage their products or services hosted in their infrastructure.
During the first year of the company, they decided to create other services or sub-companies for different businesses, so they launched an entertainment company called MRE [MAN J Records Entertainment] - MRE is a record label & music licensing, publishing company. It also has sub-record labels for their local artists & producers.
