Mortimer Baidgent Devot writing as MB Devot ( 10 April 1934 – 9 June 1987)[1] was an English author, physicist, amateur naturalist and esotericist. During the 1960s and 70s his writing attempted to account for psychic phenomena as a result of electromagnetic fields and acoustic effects acting on the human brain. In later life, he pursued a synthesis of his early theses and his newer interests in the seemingly diverse subjects of folklore, natural history, psychoacoustics and eternalism.[2]
