Youssef Ramadan Said, also known by his stage name MC Swat, is a Libyan rapper, composer, and activist. He gained recognition for his socially conscious rap music addressing violence, injustice, and social issues in Libya.
Early life and career
MC Swat is known in the Libyan hip-hop scene for his critical and socially conscious lyrics highlighting social issues. However, his outspoken nature has led to conflict with authorities, resulting in threats and persecution.[1]
The ongoing political unrest in 2011 forced MC Swat to flee Libya, becoming a refugee.[2]
Music
