MD. Muijul Hoque Azad a Major general in the Bangladesh Army and Adjutant of the Civil Aviation Authority Dhaka Area. Prior to join here, Azad was Defence adviser at the Bangladesh High Commission in London.[1]

Early life & Education[edit]

Azad completed his SSC & HSC respectively from Savar Cantonment Public School & College. He completed graduation from Chittagong University & Master in Defense Studies from National University and Mphil from Bangladesh University of Professionals.

Career[edit]

Azad joined Bangladesh Army as a commissioned officer on 21 June 2021 with 89th BMA long course. He served as Deputy Military Secretary to Prime Minister of Bangladesh for 4 years. Then he joined Bangladesh High Commission in UK.[2] On October, 2022 he was promoted to Major General and posted as GOC of 55th Infantry division. He worked under blue helmet twice. First time he was at Sierra Leone as Platoon Commander in 2022 and now as a Staff officer at Ivory Coast.
