MD Productions is a Pakistani television and film production company based in Karachi, Pakistan. It is founded by Momina Duraid and Duraid Qureshi, son of Sultana Siddiqui.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]

History[edit]

The Production House is known for producing notable television serials such as Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Dastaan and Sadqay Tumhare. Its most successful television serial Humsafar is believed to have changed the Pakistani drama industry^[8]. MD Productions produced its first film in 2015 Bin Roye which received positive reviews internationally^[9]^[10]. Some of their most successful recent work include Suno Chanda, Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, O Rangreza, Yaqeen Ka Safar, Diyar e Dil, Hum Thehrey Gunehgaar, Malaal e Yaar, Sanwari, and Jaal.^[11]^[12]
