MINDTHEGAP is a home accessories brand based in Transylvania, Romania. Based in Târgu-Mureș, they design wall art, wallpapers, lighting fixtures and fabric products. With the exception of a few fabric products that are produced in the UK, most of their products are also manufactured in Târgu Mureș. The label is a property of Global Art Production.
History[edit]
Having a history in advertising production and wall art manufacturing with Global Art Production[1], Ștefan Ormenișan (creative partner) and Victor Șerban (managing partner) founded the MINDTHEGAP brand in 2015[2]. The first wallpaper collection was launched in 2016, in Romania. It was followed by new collections launched in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Development[edit]
With an initial focus on the Romanian market, MINDTHEGAP products were rapidly introduced to a global market, being presented at fairs such as Maison et Objet, BIFE SIM, Hospitality Qatar, UE Mission Indonezia Singapore, IMM Cologne, Salone Internazionale del Mobile Milano, Heimtextil Frankfurt, ICFF New York and Contemporary European Design Korea.
