The MLB on Netflix is a live broadcast of Major League Baseball (MLB) games on Netflix, which debuted during the league's 2026 season. The presentations are produced by Netflix, featuring select Major League Baseball (MLB) games for the 2026 to 2028 seasons, including Opening Night, the Home Run Derby, and an additional special event matchup each season, including the 2026 season Field of Dreams game. This also included coverage of the World Baseball Classic in Japan only. The broadcasts are available in United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as select overseas markets including Australia, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom, among other regions Netflix is available in.
History
In August 2025, Netflix announced an exclusive deal to stream the World Baseball Classic in Japan starting in 2026. The 2026 edition marks the first time it will stream a live event in Japan. Through this agreement, Netflix will stream all 47 games of the 2026 World Baseball Classic live and on-demand for its users in Japan.
In November 2025, Netflix acquired rights to select Major League Baseball (MLB) games for the 2026 to 2028 seasons, including Opening Night, the Home Run Derby, and an additional special event matchup each season, including the 2026 season Field of Dreams game.
