This ship is used in support of bases and ships around the world. It is able to replenish bases’ long-term oil stores and also replenish ships at sea such as tenders, allowing for quick turnaround and serviceability. It is on long-term lease from American Petroleum Tankers for US$28 Million. As of 2025, the US has spent US$136 Million in leasing it.
