MVB Entertainment
MVB Entertainment was incorporated by Abdel Russell in 2005.[1] The firm is involved in media publishing, talent management, independent film financing,[2] and media distribution. MVB Entertainment secured a direct content provider deal with iTunes for its music division, MVB Records, in 2010. In 2013, MVB Entertainment became the first in the music industry to offer benefits to independent music artists; including health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, and also retirement investment accounts.[3] In 2015, MVB Entertainment signed the first openly gay Hip Hop artist in New York city.[4] In 2016 MVB expanded its music division by setting up operations in the United Kingdom,[5] and signing an artist from Glasgow, Scotland.[6]
