Machynlleth Football Club is a football club from Machynlleth in central Wales.
The club was founded in 1885 and reformed in 1896. They were finalists in the 1901-02 Welsh Amateur Cup and won it in 1931-32. In 1921-22 they entered the English FA Cup and lost 7-0 to Chester, this is Mach's only ever FA Cup match. Around this time they played in the Cambrian Coast League.
They later had several spells in the Mid Wales League, most lacked success but a run of 3 titles between 1992 and 1995 proved a high point for the club in recent times. In 1997 they fell to the Aberystwyth League and by 2005 were at the brink of folding. In 2021-22 they played a season in the Ardal Leagues. Now they're back in the Central Wales League.
