Matt Miller (born 1996), known professionally as Madd Locc, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record label owner. He is the founder of Madd Style Muzicc Inc. He has overseen the careers of many rappers, including Tony Blaze Lord Of Lyrics, Graveyard Shift Janitor, Nyne Tha Gxd, DJ Hypemane, Sykoken, Slicc Ken, Villainous Stylez 187, and many more. He is credited with helping many artists gain recognition and creating music similar to the cannibalistic rap made popular by Brother Lynch Hung "horrorcore", a rap style characterized by hypnotic or angry beats and dark themes—especially drugs, sex, and violence.

Music career

Beginnings

Madd grew up listening to Slipknot, Brotha Lynch Hung, G-Macc, X-Raided, Twiztid, Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, and others throughout his life. Attracted to this music, writing dark poetry, and due to all his tragic experiences, he was inspired to start writing them as lyrics. In High School, he was a metal singer for bands. He always had dark ideas to put into lyrics. Every time he joined a band, they said his lyrics were too dark. He eventually gave up on joining a band. A few years later, he decided to change his style to Horrorcore rap like Brotha Lynch Hung & Twiztid. His music expresses what he thinks, which usually expresses anger at those who have wronged him or someone he knows. When his close friend was brutally murdered, and most of his gang killed in a gang war between Nortenos and Crips, he put that anger over the losses into making music. Tanqueray Locc informed Madd Locc that he could create songs that talked about his life story and the truth, as these are things people could relate to. He began mixing his dark thoughts with true stories. Through storytelling and clever rhyme patterns, he hopes to share his stories with the world. His lyrics capture his thoughts, feelings, and emotions he goes through in his life. He was signed to Kill Joy Records in the past, and after that label collapsed, he decided to start his own record label. All this information was disclosed in an interview with DJ Snickerz on Underground Wicked Radio. </ref>[1]

May 8, 2013, Madd Style Muzicc Inc was created to help fresh new artists rise in their careers. Madd Locc brought John "Dabzz" Summers to help him run the label and work as a promoter for the artists in the label. He also brought his sister Kendra Langton on the label to help ensure things ran smoothly as a Co-Owner. On this label, Madd Locc worked hard to make sure his artists got the spotlight they needed and featured them on all his albums to help them get the exposure they needed for a strong career. Once they had gathered enough fans, some stayed on the label, and some left to continue on their own after receiving enough help.

March 17, 2015, Madd Locc formed a group with his good friend and rap partner Slicc Ken under the name "Canni6al Thugz" and released a series of mixtapes as a group inspired by Brotha Lynch Hung's cannibalistic horrorcore style.

Nov 9, 2016, Madd Locc and Neron became known as the rap group Canni6al Posse and helped spread the genre made famous by Three Six mafia and Evil Pimp. Together they share their dark ritualistic flows to form a dark performance. They continued to make songs together and released an album on October 31, 2019, titled 666 P.M.
