Clorisa Caroline Briggs (born June 14, 1989), known professionally as Madison Ivy, is a German-American pornographic actress. She is one of the most viewed pornographic actresses in the world, having won multiple AVN awards.
Early life[edit]
Ivy was born in Munich, West Germany, on June 14, 1989, but grew up in Texas in the United States.[1][2]
Career[edit]
Ivy moved to Sacramento, California in 2007 where she worked at the fast-food restaurant chain In-N-Out Burger and a bowling alley.[3] At the age of 19 in 2008, she entered the adult industry where she met Shy Love, another adult actress who took her "under her wing".[4]
She has appeared in a number of X-rated features, notably for companies such as Brazzers and Hustler.[5] In June of 2019, Brazzers announced that she became the company's first-ever female contract star.[6]
Personal life[edit]
Ivy is an avid advocate for the cannabis culture.[7] She has remarked cannabis cultivation to be a hobby of hers.[8] She was trained in Isshin-ryū for more than 6 years.[4]
Car accident[edit]
In 2015, Ivy was involved in a car accident where she was a passenger. She suffered multiple injuries including a spinal fracture and a stomach rupture.[9] She lost more than half her body weight in the following months and have had three organs "replaced with tube machines". She was hospitalized for over a year.[10]
