Madness: Project Nexus

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Madness: Project Nexus is a Beat 'em up/run-and-gun video game released on 29th September 2021, that is based off the animated webseries Madness Combat. It was developed by Matt Jolly (better known as Krinkels) and Michael Swain (better known as The-Swain) under the company name GIBBING TREE, with the music being composed by Sean Hodges (better known as Cheshyre) - who also composed music for multiple episodes of the Madness Combat webseries - and Devin Martin (better known as Locknar).

Gameplay

Story Campaign - you play as Sanford and Deimos, I think.

Arena Combat - you get to create and play as your own character, and give it a name and select an origin/backstory from a bunch of presets.

The Playground - a sandbox gamemode where you can spawn any enemy or weapon and fight them.

Training Mission - the tutorial that teaches the controls of the game.

There are also mods you can download from the Steam Workshop: they can range from simply adding some cosmetic changes to new storylines.

Reception

It's a very good game for all Madness Combat fans, because it features fighting, guns, violence, good music, blood, gore, and the iconic Madness Characters we know and love, along with many new additions. This is not advertising; I'm not Krinkels.

It has overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, with 97% of reviews being positive. i like madness combat :)
