Maggie Robertson
Maggie Robertson (born October 30, 1990) is an American voice actress best known for providing the motion capture and voice for Lady Dimitrescu in the Resident Evil horror franchise by Capcom. She also performed the motion capture for Runway in Rogue Company, and has starred as Dr. Mercel in Nothing to Do and Silvia in Mikey the Kid.
Biography
Robertson grew up around Arlington, Virginia.[1][2], and was born on October 30, 1990. She studied at Muhlenberg College, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in theater in 2013, and attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, receiving her Master of Arts degree in classical acting in 2018[3].
Career
Theater
Robertson has been a stage actress in both the United States and England. She performed with various theatre companies, starring as Ulysses in Troilus and Cressida, Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Queen Margaret in Henry VI, Part 2, Mrs. Marwood in Way of the World, Phaedra in Phaedra, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, the Wardrobe in Beauty & The Beast, the Woman in The Other Place, Taylor in Coping, and Mother in Dani Girl[4].
Voice acting
Robertson moved to Los Angeles after completing her Master's degree[5] to pursue acting in 2019 and landed the role of Lady Dimitrescu in the video game Resident Evil Village as her first major acting role. She has since won several awards for her performance, including the Best Performance at The Game Awards 2021, and she accepted the Outstanding Achievement in Character award at the 25th annual D.I.C.E. Awards on behalf of the Resident Evil: Village creative team[6]
