Contents
Magic: The Gathering Totally Unauthorized is split into four parts. The first serves as an introduction to the game, the key concepts behind it and the important terms used; the second part covers the rules to the game in some depth, including an example game; the third section deals with strategy, deck construction, card combinations, tactics and more; and part four is taken up by card lists.[1]
Reception
Andy Butcher reviewed Magic: The Gathering Totally Unauthorized for Arcane magazine, rating it a 7 out of 10 overall.[1] Butcher comments that "If you're new to Magic and don't have a player's guide, this is definitely worth a look. However, if you're a more experienced player, or you have other guides, you should ask yourself just how many books about Magic you think you need."[1]
