Magog Down is the official name of the 163-acre nature reserve owned and managed by The Magog Trust[1]. The former farmland was bought in 1989 and opened to the public in 1991; it continues to be managed for the dual purposes of recreation and conservation[2]; there is formal Permissive Access overseen by Natural England[3]. The reserve includes the summit of Little Trees Hill, one of the highest points of the Gog Magog Hills.
