Mahisoft is a software development company, which specializes in agile software development, nearshore technology services and staff augmentation. It was founded in 2012 and currently holds its offices in Venezuela[1], Costa Rica and Spain. The company mainly provides services to clients located in the United States and Latin America, although it has served customers from all over the world.
Timeline
- February 2012: The company’s founding partners agree to take on the first project, the design of a framework for real estate property marketing.
- March 2012: A contract between Nedra Inc., which would eventually become Mahisoft, and Channel Inc. gets signed. The first Software Engineers are hired and a small 5-square-meter workspace is set up at the Parque Tecnológico Sartenejas (PTS) in the outskirts of Caracas, Venezuela.
- June 2012: Adbrite becomes the second customer. Two additional Software Engineers were hired.
- July 2012: The office at the PTS proves to be too small and the company moves to a property in Prados del Este, also in Caracas Venezuela. The fourth Software Engineer is hired.
- September 2014: With over 21 collaborators, the company rents a bigger office at La Pirámide, Caracas Venezuela.
- August 2016: The company’s CEO decides to move Caracas's office to a house in Prados del Este, to establish a bigger, much more comfortable workspace.
- September 2016: New Mahisoft offices open for business in Costa Rica, the first instance of a physical Mahisoft workplace outside of Venezuela.
- February 2019: The company branches out once more, establishing a new office in Barcelona.
