Mailpin is an online publishing service that allows people to simply send an email to create a web page. It works well if you just need a simple, one-off web page and don't want to deal with hosting, domain registration, and FTP, or signing up and learning how to use a CMS.[1]
Features[edit]
Mailpin has the following features:
- Create a web page by sending an email. You use whatever email client as text editor.
- Get a private page with a short URL like this http://mailp.in/c8cN1BEb
- No registration needed.
- You are able to delete and edit [2] the page that you create.
- Mailpin automatically anonymizes any email address inside the page that you create.
- Youtube URLs in the page are transformed to embedded Youtube video players.[3]
- Attachments in the email you send are taken care of.
- Documents (e.g., PDF, PPT, Word, ...) are embedded in the page.
- Pictures are displayed in the page.
- Audios and videos are embedded in the page.
- Markdown files are rendered in the page.
