From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Mais Um Discos is a London-based independent record label founded in 2010 that specialises in releasing contemporary Brazilian music. The label is run by Lewis Robinson, who was formerly the label manager of Nascente, owned by Demon Music Group/BBC Worldwide, and Far Out Recordings. It has worked with Elza Soares, Dona Onete, Lucas Santtana, Metá Metá, Arnaldo Antunes (As A Curva Da Cintura with Edgard Scandurra and Toumani Diabate), Bixiga 70, Graveola, Orquestra Imperial and Rodrigo Amarante. The label has also run events in the UK, including curated festivals at The Barbican [1], Rich Mix [2] and Somerset House on behalf of the Brazilian Olympic Committee.

As well as receiving coverage in newspapers such as The Guardian, New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Le Monde the label has been featured by various BBC Radio DJs, including Gilles Peterson, Cerys Matthews, Gideon Coe and Lopa Kothari. The BBC Radio 3 Late Junction presenter Max Reinhardt said of Robinson's work at the label: “I think that you’ve changed the whole perception of what Brazilian music is in the UK".[3]
