Majlis-e-Shura

Majlis-e-Shura is an Urdu word derived from the Arabic language that denotes executive power in the Islamic system of governance. The term is used for a group of high-ranking officials who are well versed in Islamic theology and other subjects of political, social, military, and economic importance. Throughout the history of Islam, the chamber of power has always been this particular group, although the decisive power always belonged to the leader termed as Ameer-Ul-Momineen.
