Malaaz (English: Controversy) (Arabic: ملاذ) is a Egyptian Arabic Rock band and music group from Cairo, Egypt, formed in 2014 by Composer/Guitarist/Lyricist Mohamed Abdelraizk and his friend and lead guitarist Amr Beshr,[1][2] The band is known to be one of the few Artists using Arabic lyrics with Rock Music in the middle east.[3]
Biography[edit]
After starting the project together in 2014, Composer/Guitarist/Lyricist Mohamed Abdelraizk and lead guitarist Amr Beshr met Vocalist Majid Amer and started rehearsing and searching for band members with the same passion, until Bassist Moataz EL-Nashar and Drummer AJ El-Gohary joined to complete the final line-up of the band.
Starting from 2014 till 2018 the band used to release singles on the internet, and their Debut album Al Sad'a (English: Controversy) (Arabic: الصدع) was released in Feb 2018 containing 7 tracks.[4][5]
