Malcolm Anthony Hairston (Born September 25, 1992), known professionally as Malcolm Anthony.[1], is an American singer, songwriter and producer from Morristown, New Jersey. He is the former member of Electronic Hip Hop group K Theory[2][3] After leaving K Theory Anthony went on to tour solo, playing major festivals such as Rolling Loud[4] Anthony has written songs for various hip hop acts since his departure from his former group, his most recent being "Tee Grizzley" "Locked Up"[5]
Career
2012-present
Malcolm Anthony moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2012. He attended Los Angeles Film School for 2 years studying audio engineering before joining electronic dance group K Theory. Anthony and K Theory went on to sell over 100,000 records producing official remixes for artists such as Fetty Wap, Flo Rida, Rich Homie Quan and many more. Anthony and K Theory amassed over 500 Million streams across the web allowing them to tour frequently, domestically as well as internationally. Citing creative differences and shady business dealings, Anthony chose to leave the group in 2017[6]. Anthony then went on to perform nationally and continues to release projects periodically. In 2019 Anthony began his songwriting career with the record "Locked Up" by Tee Grizzley. Locked Up was released as the single on Grizzley's "Scriptures" album debuting at number 20 on Billboard Hot 200[7]
