Early Life
Malek Cular was born in Marsa Matruh, Egypt, to his mother Cleopatra and his father Muammar Gadaffi, the former leader of Libya. Because his father is of Bedouin ancestry, Malek is technically Bedouin himself, a fact that constantly frustrates him, as he insists he is instead “100% Ancient Egyptian.” Malek repeatedly rejects any suggestion of Bedouin heritage, often delivering lengthy speeches about his supposed ancient lineage.
This belief suffers a major blow when a DNA test concludes that Malek is 100% Saudi Arab. Friends regularly remind him of the report whenever he attempts to lecture others on Egyptian history. Malek consistently dismisses the findings, claiming the laboratory either confused his sample or deliberately falsified the results as part of an international conspiracy against him.
As a child, Malek is said to have had very few friends. His closest companion was a mysterious boy known simply as Mr. Twig, who accompanied him on countless adventures throughout Marsa Matruh. Another important figure in his childhood was Michael, a goat whom Malek considered one of his closest friends. According to the story, Michael suddenly disappeared one afternoon, only for goat to appear on the family’s dinner table that evening. Although Malek has never openly connected the two events, the incident remains one of the defining tragedies of his fictional childhood.
Career
Malek is employed at the nearby Negro Cafe, where he earns a salary of approximately $5 per day. Despite the modest income, he regularly describes himself as a successful businessman and insists that he is “financially thriving.” His coworkers are said to tolerate his frequent conversations about politics, Minecraft strategy, and Egyptian history, though customers reportedly become confused when he begins explaining why he is descended directly from the pharaohs.
Outside of work, Malek spends much of his free time with his close friends Rocco, Ted, and Kory, together forming the group known as the Far-Right Egyptian Nationalists. The group primarily spends most of its time playing Minecraft, particularly Pillars of Fortune, while also trolling younger players on the Nation Game Minecraft realms. Although Malek often behaves as though he is the group’s leader, his friends rarely acknowledge this claim, usually allowing him to continue believing it for comedic effect.
Malek later gained local internet recognition after appearing in several videos on Ted’s popular YouTube channel, Jenkinator. Although featured prominently in numerous videos, viewers quickly noticed that Malek almost never spoke, often remaining completely silent regardless of the situation unfolding around him. This unusual habit became one of his defining traits, with fans joking that every Jenkinator appearance featuring Malek consisted of him standing motionless in the background before disappearing without saying a single word. His silent cameos eventually became something of an inside joke among viewers, cementing his reputation as an unlikely local celebrity.
Personal Life
Malek is married to his Roblox girlfriend, Ariel, whom he frequently describes as the love of his life. Ariel lives in a dungeon or basement beneath his house, only occasionally being allowed upstairs.
Another recurring element of Malek’s life involves his unusual fascination with nature. He is said to spend hours on the roof of his house patiently photographing flies having sex, treating the insects with the seriousness of a professional wildlife photographer. Malek allegedly maintains an enormous collection of these photographs and believes they represent an important scientific achievement, despite nobody ever expressing any desire to see them.
Malek has also become the centre of several controversies. Among the most infamous are allegations that he harasses local cats in inappropriate ways. His own pet cat, Hazeloom, has similarly become the target of ridicule after repeatedly disappearing to spend time with neighborhood cats, resulting in Hazeloom being mockingly referred to as a “slut cat.”
