Maleviziotis

Maleviziotis is a dance originating from the island of Crete, from the area of Malevizi, near Irakleion. The dance is also known as Kastrinos (taken from the old name of Irakleion which was Kastro). The dance is fast circular dance, with dancers holding their hands together at shoulder height.[1] The dance is one of the more popular folk dances found on Crete.
