Malkawi
The Malkawi or Al-Malkawi (Arabic: الملكاوي) al-Malkāwī family is a clan related to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Malkawi are a large tribal confederation of Transjordan, an area in present-day Jordan and Palestinian territories.[1][2][3][4] Descendants of this family now live in Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Palastine. The Malkawi family is Iraqi in origin, and descend from Sultan Abdul-Qadir Gilani. There are several sub-families within the Malkawi including Al-Fallahen (الفلاحين), Al-Efgarah (الفقرة), Al-Miqdadi (المقدادي), Al-Kelany (الكيلاني). There are also two related families who are considered cousins of the Malkawi family, the Al-Zoubi (الزعبي) and the Al-Rababah. (الربابعه) [5][6][7]

- Ali Malkawi, the Director of the Harvard Center for Green Buildings and Cities and a Professor of Architectural Technology at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in Cambridge, MA.[8][9][10]
- Sheikh Ahmad bin Rashid bin Tarqan Al-Malkawi, grew up in Damascus, where he worked and worked in jurisprudence and hadeeth, he was mentioned in Extensive response book. He died in the year between 1400 and 1401.

- Mohammad Al-Malkawi is a Jordanian general that held the post of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces from 18 July 1999 to 5 March 2002.[11]
