Mallarapu Yaswanth (born 2004) is an Indian computer science student and aspiring data engineer known for his research on low-cost IoT-based monitoring systems for aquaculture using artificial intelligence.[1] He is currently serving as the Administrative Manager at SITER Academy in Bergen, Norway, through a remote opportunity.[1]

Early life and education

Mallarapu Yaswanth was born in 2004 in Khammam, Telangana, India, to Mallarapu Upender.[1] He completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2021 at MJPTBCWRES Kukatpally Boys, Telangana State Board of Secondary Education, achieving a 10.0 CGPA.[1] He then pursued his Intermediate (10+2) in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at MJPTBCWRJC Station Ghanpur Boys, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, from January 2021 to May 2023, scoring 892 marks (89.2%).[1] Yaswanth is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Warangal, since August 2023, with a CGPA of 8.63.[1]

Career

Yaswanth has gained practical experience through several internships with Edu Skills Foundation.[1] From October 2024 to December 2024, he interned as an AWS Data Engineer, designing and managing data pipelines using AWS services like Glue, Lambda, EMR, S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, and RDS.[1] From July 2024 to September 2024, he focused on Juniper Networking Cloud, configuring virtualized networks with Junos OS, Mist, and Contrail, and automating with Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.[1] Earlier, from April 2024 to June 2024, he developed Android apps as a Google Android Developer intern, using Java, Kotlin, Flutter, and integrating Firebase.[1] From January 2024 to March 2024, he interned in Google AI-ML, building models with TensorFlow and PyTorch on Google Cloud Platform.[1]

In addition to internships, Yaswanth has worked on projects including the "Development of an Interactive Python-Based Terminal Gaming System for Enhanced User Engagement" and "A Low-Cost IoT Based Monitoring For Aquaculture Using AI."[1]

Yaswanth presented a research paper titled "A Low-Cost IoT-Based Monitoring for Aquaculture Using AI" at the 53rd Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) held at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, from February 18 to 20, 2025.[1]
