Malwandla Hlekane (born April 22, 1994) is an award-winning South African sportscaster and football manager.[1] He is known for presenting on and co-producing the award winning Dlala Mzansi at Soweto TV[2] and for being a top 3 contestant on SABC 3 hit reality-tv show, The Longest Date.[3][4] Hlekane is multi-medium creative who has published music and written pieces.[5][6][7]

Malwandla Hlekane has a Bachelor of Arts degree in sports communication from the University of Johannesburg.[8]
Career[edit]
Malwandla Hlekane started his career at UJFM. [9] He coached in Bremen, Germany as a sports manager at Sportgarten e.V[10].
Hlekane is celebrated for his sports presenting and producer role at Soweto TV for the show Dlala Mzansi co-produced with Mbali Sigidi and Vuyo Macoba[10][11]
In November 2020, Hlekane became a professional Teqball player.[12]
In 2021, he became the voice of Polo In Africa on Supersport and continuing as a radio presenter on Siloam Live. He also periodically written for Durban-based publication Sibizi News.[13] He gained national attention when he competed on the hit reality show The Longest Date on SABC 3[14] and ranked in the Top 3 with his partner.[15][16]

Malwandla Hlekane is a business entrepreneur in the technology sector and is currently the founder of Even Playground.[1] He is also sited to be involved in the pharmacy and medical retail industry[17]
Books and Music Publications[edit]
Malwandla Hlekane published his first book, A gift from Mommy and Daddy: The greatest present parents gave their child[18][19], across digital platforms on December 22, 2020.
He is featured in a second book by Gcinuhlanga Dibi as part of a collaborative Connect The Dot Africa project called Art Directed By The Heart.[20][21]
Malwandla Hlekane published his first EP, Put It To Bed in 2021 through record label Alpha Appeal.[22]
