Man Maid is a 2008 American comedy film written and directed by Chris Lusvardi and starring Phillip Vaden, Sara Rue, Jane Lynch, Steve Hytner, and John Doe.[1][2][3]
Plot[edit]
Vincent (Phillip Vaden) is a maid at New Hotel Redmond in Redmond, Oregon. His father (Raphael Sbarge), who had left Vincent's mother for another woman when Vincent was a child, was also a maid. Vincent believes it is his destiny to follow in his father's footsteps, even though his chosen career leads to considerable ridicule.
Vincent likes two women. Torry (Sara Rue) runs the hotel for her elderly father, and is attractive but conservative. Chloe (Amanda Walsh) is beautiful and entertains at a local bar, though she has little talent. Vincent really wants Chloe. His co-worker Terressa (Justina Machado), who is mean and also works as a prostitute because being a maid doesn't pay the bills, tells him to date Torry to make Chloe jealous. Vincent and Torry really seem to hit it off until Terressa tells Torry what Vincent was doing.
Torry's father wants to sell the hotel because the bank may soon foreclose due to its considerable debt. Chloe thinks a concert by popular country singer Sissy Taylor will lead to the hotel being saved. Vincent organizes the concert but runs into numerous obstacles, including the headliner being delayed the day of the concert, causing the crowd to go wild. But the concert goes on as planned and the hotel is saved.
