Manabu Yukawa is a fictional character from Keigo Higashino's Galileo series, very popular in Japan. Yukawa is a genius but eccentric physicist. He is often approached by his old schoolmate, who is currently a detective, to solve seemingly supernatural and impossible cases.
He features in the books Tantei Garireo, Yochimu, The Devotion of Suspect X, Salvation of a Saint and Garireo no Kuno. He is portrayed by Masaharu Fukuyama in the Japanese television drama Galileo as well as its related movies Suspect X, Galileo: Episode Zero and Midsummer's Equation.

Yochimu[edit]
Kusanagi, who is a close buddy of Yukawa now, continues to seek Yukawa's assistance in suspicious cases. This is a collection of five short stories.
The Devotion of Suspect X[edit]
Yukawa meets Ishigami, the genius mathematician, who is a graduate of Yukawa's old school; Yukawa is involved in the murder case that Kusanagi is investigating. Yukawa investigates the case on his own this time, due to his high admiration and respect for his friend Ishigami.
