Manchester Collective is a British arts organisation specialising in the live performance of chamber music. Founded in 2016 by Adam Szabo and Rakhi Singh, the group brings a disruptive approach.[1] to the usually conservative world of classical music, and is based in Manchester, England. The Collective is currently Ensemble in Residence at The Stoller Hall in Manchester, and performs regularly at venues including Kings Place, Djanogly Hall in Nottingham, Leeds Town Hall, and the Royal Northern College of Music. It has developed a particular reputation for its young audiences, due in part to creative programming and performances at a range of traditional and alternative concert venues[2]. Since its launch in 2017, the Collective has worked with artists ranging from Edmund Finnis, Jayson Gillham, Lotte Betts-Dean, and Bartek Glowacki, to Oliver Coates, Vessel, and Daniel Elms.[3]

In 2016, Adam Szabo and Rakhi Singh established the Collective. The group gave its first public performances in 2017[4], and from its first season, has been supported by major funders including Arts Council England[5] and the PRS for Music's PRS Foundation.
