Mangesh Amale (born January 5, 1981) is Indian Entrepreneur, Software Developer, Philanthropist and Speaker. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Velox Inc, Chicago USA, Velox Solutions Pvt Ltd. Mumbai India and the Velox Foundation, He also serves on Deccan Bank Board as an Expert Director.

Early Life & Education

Born in Junnar, a small village about 92 km from Pune, Coming from a deprived family, he and his parents worked as laborers to make ends meet. Mangesh found his inspiration from his father, Mr. Mahadev Amale, who, despite being agronomist, had a knack at repairing diesel engines used for irrigation. It was a gradual influence that ignited in him a thirst for more and led him in the pursuit of Academic excellence.

Mangesh has completed his post-graduation in IT. He acquired several technical certifications and pursued MBA degree in Systems and Finance, Diploma in Management and Cyber Law, PGDBT from IIBT , Executive MBA Washington University From IIT Bombay.

Career

• He began his career in Oracle Technologies as a Business Associate.
• He moved on to Zenith Infotech Ltd as a Senior Consultant. It was here that he could execute various critical projects bringing him instant recognitions, appreciations and awards from the Company.
• He later joined Deccan Bank as Head – IT.
• He then went on to join HDFC Bank as a Senior Manager, IT Department, where he ventured into Core Banking System.
• Today, Mangesh is the founder of Velox Inc, USA & Velox Solutions Pvt. Ltd and is heading the companies in the capacity of Managing Director.

Personal Life

Mangesh is married to Tejaswi Amale, an equally talented woman, who is also a well-read poetess. They have two children together, Atharva and Ananya. In his spare time, Mangesh indulges in music sessions. He enjoys soulful music and spending quality time with his family.

Charity

Mangesh has also set up an NGO called Velox Foundation which is involved with Chembur Club.

• This Organization mainly helps cancer patients. Cancer treatment in our country is highly priced and the majority of people are not covered by any form of medical insurance. Therefore, the biggest challenge has been to provide sustained healthcare intervention for the needy including home visits post cancer treatment.
• Velox Foundation also educates people against the use of plastics and how it affects the environment.
• This foundation is closely working with Vatsalya Trust which takes care of senior citizens and orphaned children's.
