Manish Gupta is the CEO[1] of Raj Comics [2], born 6th June 1968. He is the son of Raj Kumar Gupta, with 2 other brothers: Manoj[3] and Sanjay Gupta[4]. He is a co-founder of the Indian publication firm Raja Pockets Books.

Studied Electrical Engineering at D.C.E.

Studied Computer Engineering at University of Buffalo.

Projects[edit]

He worked as the editor of most Raj Comics publications since the 1980s. He started an animation firm in the 2000s, called Rtoonz. This animation firm produced multiple animated adapations of the published library in an episodic fashion [5] Manish Gupta is the project head for Raj Comics' Official android app.[6]

Incorporated Digital coloring in the 1990's to Raja Pocket Books, making them the first publication to do so in India.

In-charge of digital marketing and server maintenance for Raj Comics.[7]

In charge of all Film/Animation ventures at Raj Comics.

He also digitized and distributed the company's comic retinue. He is quoted as saying “Our comics are currently available on services like Airtel Live, Vodafone, Idea and DoCoMo and we are clocking the highest downloads amongst various publishers,”[8]
