Manoj Basnet (born 1 December 1990) is An Nepal Film Producer and Music Producer. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of Eight K. Everest Motion Pictures Private Limited, also known as 8K Everest motion Pictures.[1] He is known for his works in Nepal Film Industry.
Career[edit]
Basnet founded 8K Everest Motion Pictures in 2014 when he was 24. He started the music distribution company when people were very likely to see and listen music in youtube and other music platform. Huslting the difficulties he established one of the renowned music distribution company in Nepal. He change the music industry in different level by changing the trend in music industry in Nepal. He is also renowned for film director [2] and film producer [3] in music industry of Nepal.
As managing director, Basnet collaborated with different artist and made difference in the Music Industry. He brought revolution in digital marketing by taking risk of producing quality music and videos which changes the phase of digital music industry in Nepal When people don't take risk or don't invest much in music industry.
Music and film producer[edit]
After firming his company's presence in the music market, Manoj Basnet ventured into making films.
In 2017, Basnet produced Kammarko Tattoo[4] which was his first music video which became one of the trending video in youtube and still its on trend.This music video was collaborated with Almoda Rana Uprety and The cartoon crews Teams. Manoj Basnet release new music video, Pitch Road.[5] Pitch Road proved to be a turning point for Basnet's production house Which Was Featured By Sushant Khatri And Aanchal Sharma in 2018 Which was first music video of Sushant Khatri And Aanchal Sharma too and it created The different records in Nepal on Youtube Too.
Banset subsequent projects included such films as Mantra.[6] Mantra- A Himalayan Love Story film, starring Saugat Malla [7] and Diya Pun and directed by Khil Bahadur Gurung.
Manoj Basnet has worked with directors such as Shann Thapa,[8]Tekendra Shah,[9]Rahul Shah and Dipak Acharya for his company 8K Everest Motion Pictures[10] .He has also worked with Different artists like Paul Shah, Swastima Khadka, Najir Husen, Khagendra Lamichhane, Barsha Raut, Aryan Sigdel, Alisha Rai and many mores from Nepal. He has even worked with International Collaboration Like Achurjya Borpatra and Prashant Tamang.

Manoj Basnet [11] was born in a Chhetri family in Ramechhap in Teacher Family of Ramechhap.
