Manoj Chandra is an Indian actor who has worked in Indian cinema as well as international films and series. His films and series are currently streaming on various platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, aha (streaming service) and he has a film which is awaiting release in cinemas and on Netflix.
Manoj was born in Visakhapatnam and appeared in his first film in a supporting role in 2010, right after he graduated from high school. During his college tenure, he entered the television business where he hosted a celebrity chat show on Star Maa. He also starred in more than a dozen student short films during this time. In 2015, he was selected to play the role of Omkar in Ravi Vide's Sanjeevani (2017). He competed with 900 other actors to get that role, which ended up being his first feature film where he starred in a lead role. The film won accolades from the biggest Indian directors such as S. S. Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma and several others. He immediately starred in another feature film called Paper Boy (2018), which brought him more success in the Indian film industry. He also debuted in the Indian remake of Baker and the Beauty (2021), which is now streaming on aha (streaming service). Manoj Chandra has officially entered international cinema in 2021 after debuting in the fourth installment of AY’s comedic film "Christmas in Miami". He has shared the screen with international actors such as John Amos, AY Makun, Richard Mofe Damijo, Osita and several others. Manoj Chandra portrays the character of "Roy Patel" in this rib-cracking comedy.
