Manuel Rodrigues (philosopher)
In 1984, Manuel completed his degree in Philosophy at the Lisbon Faculty of Arts, where he also earned a PhD in Contemporary Philosophy with the thesis "Sophia momentanea – Creation and Freedom in the Philosophy of Vladimir Jankélévitch", under the supervision of Manuel José do Carmo Ferreira and Joaquim Cerqueira Gonçalves. After teaching high school Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology from 1986 to 1992, he held various teaching positions at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies in Torres Vedras and Lisbon. He has also been a professor of Aesthetics in the annual Image and Resemblance Course at Arcadia Ego, Ar.Co (Art and Visual Communication Center) since 1993.
