As the result, Magnit became the owner of SIA International Ltd., and gained indirect control over a 100% stake in SIA through his subsidiaries. Marathon Group increased its stake in Magnit to 13.3%. In August 2017, the Marathon Group and Rostec state corporation announced the merger of pharmaceutical assets to create a manufacturer and supplier of federal pharmaceutical products and implement comprehensive import substitution in a number of healthcare areas.[13][14] According to the terms of the shareholder agreement signed in February 2018, Rostec was to transfer a blocking stake (25% plus one share) Nacimbio company to Marathon Group, and Marathon Group was to transfer to Natsimbio up to 49% of the shares of the pharmaceutical distributor CJSC SIA International LTD, as well as blocks of shares in the Sintez and Fort factories owned by the Marathon Group. In June 2018, Rostec and Marathon Group decided that SIA Group would not enter the transaction perimeter due to the redundancy of the distributor’s capacities to meet the needs of Nacimbio.
