Marc Phillip Anthony (born November 14, 1989) is an American football cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at California. He was selected in the seventh round by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Early years[edit]

He was selected to the All-Far West team by SuperPrep in his senior year in high school.[1] He was also was selected to the All-State first-team following the season in which he recorded 77 tackles, 1.0 sack and four interceptions.[1] He also played in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl.[1] He was ranked as the 14th best cornerback prospect by Rivals and was the 4th best overall prospect in the state of Arizona.[1]

On May 17, 2012, In his Senior season, He was selected to the preseason All-Pac-12 third-team prior to the season.[2] On December 7, 2012, He won California's Berkeley Breakfast Club Award following his Senior season.[3]

Professional career[edit]

Baltimore Ravens[edit]

On April 27, 2013, he was drafted in the seventh round (247th overall) by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2013 NFL Draft.[4]

Tampa Bay Buccaneers[edit]

On September 2, 2013, He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to join the practice squad.[5] In January 2014 he was signed to a future contract with the Buccs for the 2014 season.[6]
