Marc Insco
Born
💼 Occupation

Marc Insco is a Lebanese-American YouTuber from New Jersey, USA. Upon graduating in 2021, Insco worked as a Congressional Staffer on Capitol Hill until late 2024. Marc posted his first YouTube video on his main channel, @marcinsco..[1], in January 2025[2], and has since amassed over 220,000 subscribers. Insco launched a secondary channel in July 2026[3], @marclinsco, culminating in a total subscriber count of 240,000 as of August 2026.

Early Life

Marc Insco was born on June 29th, 2000, in New Jersey, USA, the son of Lebanese immigrants.

Career

Politics

Upon graduating in 2021, Insco worked on Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer. He became unemployed in late 2024 when the campaign he was working on ended following the 2024 United States presidential election[4].

YouTube

A few months after becoming unemployed, Insco posted his first video on his now-main YouTube channel, discussing the athletic apparel retailer Alo Yoga. After deciding to pursue YouTube full-time in April 2025, he has since posted over 60 videos on his main channel. A self-described 'full-time hater', Insco's videos mainly serve as social commentary, frequently discussing politics, culture, and lifestyle. As of August 2026, Marc has amassed over 200,000 subscribers on his main channel[5].

Insco's YouTube channel gained significant traction in April/May 2026 when fellow YouTuber Doothi published a video titled 'commentary is lowkey bad'[6] in April 2026, criticising the declining quality and effort of modern YouTube commentary channels. In the video, she used a clip of Insco as an example of 'surface-skimming' commentary, specifically referencing a video of Marc's which discusses the resurgence of the white tank top in social media influencer circles following Kylie Jenner being photographed wearing the clothing at a basketball game, and critiquing the culture of overconsumption fuelling the trend. Viewers pointed out that Doothi refused to call Insco by his name, instead repeatedly referring to him as the 'Kendall Jenner tank top guy', a phrase now displayed as the banner image on Marc's second channel page. In May 2026, Insco uploaded a response video, titled 'RE: commentary is lowkey bad'[7], calling out Doothi's misrepresentation of facts and the irony of her own seemingly cursory research into the topics and commentary creators discussed in her video.

Insco launched his second channel, 'marc (l)insco', in July 2026. The name of this channel was inspired by a misspelling of his main-channel name on a custom hoodie gifted to him by his mother[8]. The second channel, self-described as an 'even sloppier'[9] version of his main, also offers social commentary surrounding culture and politics, but in a more relaxed style and with minimal editing compared to his main channel videos. As of August 2026, Insco has amassed over 20,000 subscribers on his second channel[10].

Personal Life

Insco moved to New York City from New Jersey in July 2026[11]
