Marcel Miska (born January 2, 1984) is a German-British actor, musician and writer. He is known for appearances in film, television and music videos, most notably as Pit the Punk Weasel[2] in the German movie Das Geheimnisvolle Album(2018)[3] and as Marco Lehnert [4] in the German television soap opera, Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten.[5] In 2019, his first single, "All I Ever Wanted",[6] was released worldwide. He has written several books, including As Long as We Live[7] and The Lost Boys.[8]

Early life

Marcel Miska was born into a working-class family in East Germany. In 2003, he auditioned and was accepted to study acting at Schauspielschule Charlottenburg in Berlin, to which he relocated. At the age of twenty-five, he graduated from Starter-Berliner Schauspielschule für Film und Fernsehen.

Career

Film and television

While studying in Berlin, Miska’s career began with an appearance in the German daily soap opera, Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten, produced by Grundy Ufa Film Production.[9] In 2018, he played Pit in the major German film, Das geheimnisvolle Album - Ein Rockmärchen, alongside Sven Martinek, Jeanette Biedermann and Remo.[10] [11]
