Marcelo Gopar (born 22 July 1965) is an Argentine journalist, radio host and television presenter. In 1997, he joined Crónica TV.[1] He has also been associated with AM Judicial, Radiomixargentina and the digital news portal Diario Argentino, and has hosted Marcelo Gopar en Radio El Mundo, a program on Radio El Mundo focused on judicial affairs in Argentina.[2][3][4][5][6] In 2019, he received the Quijote de Oro National Radio and Television Award for best male radio host.[1] Gopar is also known for having conducted the last interview with Gilda before the singer's death.[7]
Career
Gopar joined Crónica TV in 1997.[1] Self-published and platform sources associated with his media work describe him as directing or presenting programming linked to AM Judicial, Radiomixargentina and Diario Argentino.[2][3][4] Coverage and programme listings for Marcelo Gopar en Radio El Mundo describe it as a Radio El Mundo programme devoted to the activities of Argentina's national justice system.[5][6]
In October 2019, Gopar won the Quijote de Oro National Radio and Television Award in the category of best male radio host; the ceremony was held in Azul, Buenos Aires.[1] A 2016 article in Diario Popular identified him as the journalist who carried out Gilda's final interview before her death.[7]
