History

Before MNN Films, Marco Studios announced the Marco Studios Documentary Movies studio, a new studio placed under Marco Studios Film Distribution Group to produce unpaid documentaries based on defunct companies and dead animated characters and have Marco Studios Distribution to distribute the films. The first film for MSDM is Scrat the Squirrel: The Movie. Sadly, Scrat's documentary fell through due to a bad connection on Chris's ThinkCentre Neo 50s where Google Chrome and RenderDoc did not finish making the locations from Google Maps, so Marco Studios cancelled it, retiring Scrat from Marco, and the MSDM brand is in limbo. In 2025, Christopher Rosemond decided to move documentary production to the Marco Network News brand, started as a news blog website, and created a new documentary studio. Marco Studios Documentary Movies has been shut down.
Marco Network News Films was created to serve as the replacement for Marco Studios Documentary Movies. MNN Films announced they are collaborating with creators using the Discord platform to work online as an unpaid project. But when Christopher Rosemond tried out the collaborations with creators on the Discord platform, he pulled out of the collabs a year later, before Marco Network and The Marco Network, Inc. were on life support.
The first documentary to be produced by the new MNN Films is named The Emu War, originally produced by Marco Studios Documentary Movies, and is having its production moved to Marco Network Productions to handle the film. The film was directed by TinyDinoKing. The second documentary is called From Superhero to Normal Human. Another film originally produced by Marco Studios Documentary Movies is being moved to Marco Network Productions as well.
With two new documentaries being produced by MNP as Marco Network's live action studio, two new original movies are being announced for MNN Films: Marco Network's Chickens and Marco Network's Cranes. These films are announced as replacements for the recently cancelled Starry the Squirrel: The Movie and an untitled Penguin movie. It was due to Marco Network firing Mavi and Pixar Lover arguing with Chris Rosemond and an unlimited ticket scam for BirdBob, The Marco Network version of SpongeBob SquarePants. Marco Studios shelved the short and removed its premiere as Starry's character design was shaking her butt with an ugly character design. Chris Rosemond made his decision to cancel this film, retiring the Starry character mascot for Marco Network.
With Illustrious and Marco Network's Mafia Drones being acquired by both companies with Marco Studios Distribution releasing the film, the film faced problems with the production on set, as Wilbert did not learn Marco Network's rules of making original ideas and reducing licensed characters that Marco cannot pay for fan films. Christopher Rosemond was disappointed with the film's production, revealing that it was a fan film based on the webcomic and Murder Drones. Since he did not have permission to ask the creator for permission to use the IP, Illustrious is unsure of the future of the film. So this leads to a result as IIP getting actual original films from MNN Films. Illustrious Iridescent would produce Chickens and Cranes with help using the animals. They are using Blender to produce the animated segments and Christopher using the Canon EOS R100 camera to film the live action scenes. The rest of MNN Films' catalog is going to be released under Marco Studios Distribution.
Starting this year, Illustrious Iridescent and Marco Network renamed Marco Network's Cranes to Marco Network's Gooses.
