Marco Rosa Blanco (born 30 November 1995) is a Spanish footballer who currently plays as a central midfielder for Gibraltar National League side Lincoln Red Imps.[1]
Career[edit]
Real Betis B[edit]
Rosa began his career at Real Betis B, where he made 44 appearances in two season.[2] He scored two goald for the club, the last in a 3-1 win vs. CF Villanovense.[3]
CD San Roque de Lepe[edit]
Rosa moved to CD San Roque de Lepe ahead of the 2015–16 season. He went on to make 12 appearances in the league, with no goals.
SCR Peña Deportiva[edit]
Rosa joined SCR Peña Deportiva, where he made 22 appearances.
Còrdoba B[edit]
Rosa signed for Córdoba CF B ahead of the 2018–19 season.[4] He scored 3 goals in 31 matches for Còrdoba B. Following the season, both sides reached an agreement to terminated his contract.[5]
Europa FC[edit]
Rosa joined Gibraltar National League side Europa FC ahead of the 2019–20 season.[6] He made his debut for Europa on 27 June 2019 in a UEFA Europa League preliminary round match vs. UE Sant Julià.[7][8] Rosa went on to make 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring 5 goals.
Lincoln Red Imps[edit]
Rosa joined fellow Gibraltar National League side Lincoln Red Imps ahead of the 2021–22 season. He made his debut on 6 July 2021 vs. CS Fola Esch in a 2021–22 UEFA Champions League qualifying round match.[9] He scored his first goal later on in qualifying in a 2-1 loss vs. CFR Cluj.[10]
On 30 September 2021, Rosa scored the first ever goal for a Gibraltar side in the group stage of European competition in a UEFA Europa Conference League match vs. FC Copenhagen.[11]
