Marcus Johnson Jr (born May 18, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who is currently playing for Alvik basket. He played college basketball for Arkansas Little Rock Trojans. He played under head coach Michael Wright at Evelyn Mack Academy. With his amazing 18 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists, Johnson was selected as Player of the game against Elevation Prep Academy.

College Career[edit]

Johnson played two seasons at Little Rock, completing with doubles-doubles and positioning among the top 100 players domestically. His assists in that season, which are 279 were considered to be positioned second domestically while his assist to turnover proportion was categorized third, which was 4.9.

Johnson was said to be the utmost precious player in Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference and First Team All-NTJCAC.

From 2015-2016, Johnson played about 35 matches and gained himself second team All-Sun Belt reveres with his exceptional 12.5 points

average, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 3.1 rebounds for each matches. Johnson was positioned at 11th according to his 0.473 basket percentage. He was also named as the first little rock player whose record was more than 30 in a match, after the 2013-2014 game.

From 2016-2017, the team under Johnson’s leadership was placed at 17th in Sun Belt with the score of 13.3 for each play. Johnson played about 27 matches as a senior and with his extraordinary 2.8 assists in the game positioned him at 10th place in the Sun Belt.

Professional Career[edit]

Qatar League[edit]

In 2017, Johnson played for Al Wakrah, Qatar. He earned the titles; player of the year, guard of the year and import of the year in the league. He was also nominated in the first team. He scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the final match against Al Arabi. He was the second top scorer of the game, through the team lost to Al Arabi.

Swedish League (2019-2020)[edit]

In 2019, Johnson started playing under head coach Fred Drains for Alvik basket in the Swedish League. The game is scheduled from 28 September 2019 to 29 March 2020. He joined the league from the 9th round.

Round 9[edit]

23 November 2019, Johnson scored 16 points, with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Alvik Basket lost the match against KFUM Fryshuset with a total of 85 points.

24 November 2019, Johnson scored 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 32 points. Alvik Basket lost the match against IK Eros with a total of 85 points. He was named as the top performer from the losing team.

Round 11[edit]

7 December 2019, with an incredible play of 40 points with 4 assists and 2 rebounds, Johnson led the team to win against Team4Q with a total of 100 points.

8 December 2019, Johnson scored 22 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Alvik Basket won the match against Helsingborg with a total of 109 points.

Round 12[edit]

12 December 2019, Johnson scored 22 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Alvik Basket lost the match against KFUM Fryshuset with a total of 88 points.

Round 13[edit]

21 December 2019, Johnson scored 18 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Alvik Basket won the match against Bankeryds with a total of 100 points.

Round 15[edit]

5 January 2020, Johnson scored 30 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Alvik Basket won the match against Bankeryds with a total of 68 points.
