Marcus Miller signature Fender Jazz Bass
The Marcus Miller Jazz Bass is Marcus Miller's signature bass, produced by Fender. Introduced in 1998, it was available in both 4 and 5 string versions (originally made in Japan, Mexico and America respectively). This bass builds on the typical Fender Jazz sound by adding a 2 band active EQ to the bass, allowing the "scooped mids" sound that Miller uses. In addition to the EQ, the bass also sports a larger pickguard (to cover the extra electronics) and a large chrome pickup cover over the neck pickup. The bridge is a Leo Quan Badass II. Fender discontinued this model in 2015.
