Mareli[1] (real name - Maryana Yurievna Chyukova; born September 23, 1995, Sverdlovsk, Ukraine) - Russian pop performer , singer, vocalist, and songwriter.

Biography and musical career[edit]

Born on September 23, 1995 in Lugansk region, in the city of Sverdlovsk. Russian by nationality. She studied at the Lugansk Academy of Culture and Arts named after M. L. Matusovsky, after which she entered the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture. At the Rostov State Conservatory named after S.V. Rachmaninov Chukova graduated from a master's degree in the specialty of being an artist of ensemble and teacher of extra-jazz singing.

She first appeared on stage as a schoolgirl, often performed and was recognized as the “Golden Voice of Lugansk” after winning a city vocal competition.

On April 16, she entered the rotation of “Radio More” with the song “Spam”

The beginning of a creative journey[edit]

Maryana recorded cover versions of foreign hits and original songs on her YouTube channel, mainly in English, as well as video clips.

She worked for the Ministry of Defense as a military artist for several years. Her dad is a military man, and she was raised in our best traditions.

She took part in vocal competitions and concert programs, for example, in the production of “Stuffed Fish with Side Dish” at the Shalom Jewish Theater. Together with the Glamour Jazz Band team, she participated in the television show “Songs” on TNT

She performed the song “Easy on Me” from the fourth studio album of the British singer Adele at the music show Voice[2]. Presnyakov Jr. managed to block Zivert, and Maryana became a member of his team[3].

Personal life[edit]

As of May 2024, the singer is not married. He also has no children. Mostly he hides information about his personal life[4].

Musical influences[edit]

She was a big fan of Dmitry Koldun as a teenager, saying that she “grew up listening to his songs.”
