Margarita Pavlovna Korabelnikova (Russian: Маргарита Павловна Корабельникова; born 19 June 1931) is a Soviet and Russian actress and voice actress. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1983).
Biography[edit]
Margarita was born on 19 June 1931 in Chișinău.
In 1953, she graduated from Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. She first began her work in Yermolova Theatre, and then in Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre.
In 1956, she became an actress of the Gorky Film Studio. Since 1965 she was the first presenter of television program Alarm Clock.
She appeared in movies, usually in a background role, took part in radio plays of Nikolai Litvinov, Rostislav Plyatt and others, and voiced many cartoons from Soyuzmultfilm. Her most famous voice role is the eponymous polar bear cub from Umka and its sequel Umka is Looking for a Friend.
