From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Maria Rodés (Cabrera de Mar, 20 de mayo de 1986) is a Catalan Spanish singer-songwriter, performing in both Spanish and Catalan.

When she was 23, she released her first album as half of the duo Oníric. Her first solo record under her own name was Una forma de hablar (2010), followed by the self-produced Sueño Triangular (2012). 2014 saw the release of María Canta Copla, on which she arranged and reinterpreted classic coplas.[1] This album caught the attention of David Byrne, who selected her to perform in the 2015 Meltdown festival in London. Her most recent album is 2018's Eclíptica. [2]

In addition to her solo work, she collaborated with musicians Ramón Rodríguez and Martí Sales on the Catalan-language album Convergència i Unió (2013). She has also appeared on numerous other artists' recordings including Nacho Vegas, Refree, and Coque Malla.
