Mariana António Pacheco (born Lisbon, March 11, 1992) is a Portuguese actress.
Biography and career
Mariana Pacheco was born on March 11, 1992, in Lisbon.
She made her debut in the SIC telenovela O Jogo in 2003, at the age of 11. In 2005, she joined the regular cast of the TVI series Morangos com Açúcar, playing the role of Teresinha.
In 2006, she participated in the 1st Junior Song Festival, where she sang the song "Só eu sei (o que quero)."
In the following years, she made guest appearances in O Bando dos Quatro (2006), Floribella (2007/2008), and Dancin' Days (2012). In 2013, she joined the main cast of the RTP1 series Bem-Vindos a Beirais, which aired until 2016.
In 2015, she joined the cast of the SIC telenovela Coração D'Ouro, appearing as an antagonist for the first time in the role of Catarina Ferreira. Her character is a villain who kills her grandfather to secure his inheritance.[1]
In May 2017, she joined the cast of the SIC telenovela Espelho d'Água as the lead, playing the role of Rita Faria.[2] That year, she was nominated for the Globos de Ouro (Golden Globes) in the "Breakthrough of the Year" category, ultimately winning the award.[3]
In September 2018, she joined the cast of Alma e Coração, a telenovela on SIC, playing the character Maria do Carmo Macedo.[4]
In 2018, Mariana Pacheco was one of the ambassadors for the Super Bock Super Rock summer festival, where she participated in a tribute to Zé Pedro of the band Xutos & Pontapés.[5]
In 2020, Mariana joined the cast of the fourth season of the SIC series Golpe de Sorte.[6] Also in 2020, Mariana Pacheco was confirmed as one of the names for the the SIC soap opera *Amor Amor*, in which she plays "Cátia," which premiered in January 2021.[7]
She had her first experience as a presenter in 2021, hosting an episode of *Estamos em Casa* (SIC) at the invitation of Daniel Oliveira.[8]
She also pursued a singing career in musical theater and hoped to release an album; this materialized in 2023 with the release of the song "Dor de Amar," alongside her boyfriend, SYRO.[9] That same year, she starred in the play A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Teatro da Trindade, directed by Diogo Infante.[10]
In 2024, she released her first solo song,"Barco Vazio."[11] In November of the same year, she released the single "Mal-Viver."[12]
Personal life
The actress dated singer Filipa Marinho in 2016.[13] She was in a relationship with singer SYRO from 2022 until early 2026, and they had a child together.[14][15][12]
